A convoy of Taxis was seen in Uitenhage, Gqebhera this afternoon where the taxi drivers were allegedly telling the business owners who had closed their businesses to reopen them as they have the situation under control.

A group of people was spotted near Pier 14 shopping center this morning and the shops were immediately closed but the taxi associations in Port Elizabeth quickly came to the rescue.

Up to so far there has not been any major looting in Port Elizabeth and the Taxi drivers have assured the business 126.com owners that they will make sure that they "Deal" with anyone who tries to loot any business in their territory.
