Cosatu expresses significant concern about increasing youth unemployment in South Africa.

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) expressed significant concern over the high rate of young unemployment in the country. 

Kopano Konopi, Cosatu's North West secretary, urges urgent solutions to combat unemployment in the province.

He calls for a revision of economic policies to maximize industrialization and create jobs, particularly for young people.

However, Tefo Mokgoko, a Klerksdorp worker, alleges that labor brokers continue to exploit workers, claiming they are still on temporary contracts and feel like they are still slaves, claiming the government and labor department have allowed such practices.
